Responsibilities:
- Support General Manager in developing and maintaining strong relationships with city-level government officials and politicians.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships that align with Binance’s strategic objectives.
- Lead educational campaigns and awareness efforts to improve understanding of Binance and the broader crypto industry.
- Manage communications and inquiries from the JFSA and other regulatory bodies in Japan.
- Engage proactively with policymakers and other key stakeholders to foster a favorable policy environment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on regulatory and public affairs strategies.
Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or relevant regulatory roles in Japan.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with government officials, regulators (particularly JFSA), and political figures.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese regulatory environment related to financial services and cryptocurrency.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Japanese language fluency required; English proficiency preferred.
